The design decision

Accuracy is not one number unless the task and scoring rules are clear. A receptionist can recognise the request correctly but book the wrong time, or capture every word while failing to reach the right team. Define separate measures for intent, essential fields, authorised actions and honest handling of uncertainty.

Workflow and information contract

Create a representative test set with expected outcomes written before testing. Include routine requests, ambiguous wording, unsupported tasks and integration failures. Score critical fields and business actions against known answers. Track safe escalation separately from incorrect automation. Keep a held-out set for final evaluation after the configuration has been tuned.

Acceptance test and expected result

Use a case where the assistant produces a fluent answer but changes the appointment date. It must fail the task check. Include a legitimate staff escalation and record it separately rather than calling it a successful automated completion. Repeat a fixed set after a configuration change and compare the actual case-level differences.

Limits and human handoff

Do not advertise an accuracy percentage without its sample size, task definition and test conditions. A small internal test is not an independent benchmark. Avoid tuning on the final evaluation set and then presenting the resulting score as performance on unseen requests.

Prepare a VoiceAvo implementation review

Use this guide to prepare a specific VoiceAvo implementation review, not as a promise that every described action is enabled in every account. Confirm the selected telephony provider, supported integration, staff responsibilities and failure path before activation. Begin with synthetic records and approved test destinations. Keep a dated record of expected and actual results, and approve production use only after the business owner has reviewed the evidence. For this workflow, bring the following information: case ID, expected intent, critical fields, permitted action, actual result, escalation class and evaluation split.

Use a repeatable acceptance checklist

Open the workflow acceptance kit and review the implementation checklist. These are scenarios to run, not claimed product test results.
