The design decision

Home-services enquiries need practical details such as service type, location and access constraints. The receptionist should help staff understand the request without diagnosing a technical problem or promising a visit that has not been assigned. Separate an enquiry, a proposed appointment and a confirmed dispatch in both the conversation and the system.

Workflow and information contract

Ask the caller to describe the requested service and confirm the service address using the approved validation process. Check the published service area and scheduling rules. Collect only the details needed for staff assessment or booking. Explain whether the request is being recorded or confirmed, and pass unusual or urgent situations to the approved route.

Acceptance test and expected result

Test an address outside the normal coverage area and a caller asking for immediate attendance. The assistant should not promise service merely because a slot appears free. Simulate a dispatch-system rejection after details are collected; the result must remain an enquiry awaiting staff review.

Limits and human handoff

The assistant should not provide unsafe repair instructions, assess hazards or invent an emergency response. Use the business-approved safety and escalation wording. Quotes, diagnosis and dispatch commitments require the appropriate authority and a confirmed downstream action.

Prepare a VoiceAvo implementation review

Use this guide to prepare a specific VoiceAvo implementation review, not as a promise that every described action is enabled in every account. Confirm the selected telephony provider, supported integration, staff responsibilities and failure path before activation. Begin with synthetic records and approved test destinations. Keep a dated record of expected and actual results, and approve production use only after the business owner has reviewed the evidence. For this workflow, bring the following information: service request, validated address, coverage result, access detail, scheduling state and responsible dispatcher.

Use a repeatable acceptance checklist

Open the workflow acceptance kit and review the implementation checklist. These are scenarios to run, not claimed product test results.
