The design decision

Routing by language is useful only when the destination team can actually handle the request at that time. A receptionist may recognise the preferred language but still transfer the caller to an unavailable queue. Combine language preference with service intent, opening hours and a tested fallback rather than routing on a single detected attribute.

Workflow and information contract

Ask for language preference where appropriate and identify the purpose of the call. Match both to an approved destination and check its current availability. Explain the transfer before initiating it. Pass the confirmed request summary to staff without exposing unnecessary data. When no suitable team is available, offer the agreed callback or message route.

Acceptance test and expected result

Test a supported language during the relevant team working hours and again after that queue closes. Simulate a transfer destination that rings without answering. Verify that the caller is not trapped in a loop and that the unresolved request is assigned to an owner with its language preference preserved.

Limits and human handoff

A language label should guide service, not determine customer eligibility or priority without an explicit lawful business policy. Do not advertise a staffed language queue until its hours, fallback and actual staffing have been verified by the organisation.

Prepare a VoiceAvo implementation review

Use this guide to prepare a specific VoiceAvo implementation review, not as a promise that every described action is enabled in every account. Confirm the selected telephony provider, supported integration, staff responsibilities and failure path before activation. Begin with synthetic records and approved test destinations. Keep a dated record of expected and actual results, and approve production use only after the business owner has reviewed the evidence. For this workflow, bring the following information: language preference, intent, destination queue, availability check, transfer result and fallback owner.

Use a repeatable acceptance checklist

Open the workflow acceptance kit and review the implementation checklist. These are scenarios to run, not claimed product test results.
