Missed-Call Workload Calculator
Translate your missed-call rate and chosen recovery scenario into call counts, minutes and workload hours without inventing sales revenue.

What this tool measures
A missed call is not automatically a lost sale, and a recovered call is not automatically a completed task. This tool makes a narrower estimate: how many calls and handling hours fall inside a scenario that you define. It does not attach an invented monetary value to each caller.
Enter your planning inputs
Numeric defaults are fictional examples, not prices or measured performance. All calculations happen in your browser; inputs are not transmitted to the server.
Formula
Estimated missed calls = inbound calls × missed percentage ÷ 100. Scenario handled calls = missed calls × scenario coverage percentage ÷ 100. Scenario minutes = handled calls × average minutes. Scenario hours = minutes ÷ 60.
Worked example
With 1,000 inbound calls, a 20% missed-call estimate and a chosen 50% coverage scenario, the model produces 200 missed calls and 100 handled calls. At three minutes each, that represents 300 minutes, or five hours of conversation workload.
Limits and assumptions
Fractions can appear because this is an expectation calculation, not a list of individual calls. The result is neither guaranteed call recovery nor revenue or profit. Repeated attempts from the same person, spam calls, answered-but-unresolved calls and time-of-day patterns need separate treatment.
How to review the result
Choose a consistent measurement window and definition of missed call. Exclude internal tests and classify duplicate attempts. Compare an approved pilot against the same hours and intent mix, then check verified outcomes rather than simply counting answered connections.
Exported JSON includes the inputs and derived outputs, making it possible for another reviewer to reproduce the arithmetic. Keep any underlying call evidence in your own approved system. A model result is not evidence that a live deployment has passed its acceptance tests.
